Michael was sent to boarding school and he hated it. One day he escaped and met a lady called Millie, Millie told him about her husband. She told him that  when Bertie was young he found a white lion cub, Then Bertie gets sent to Boarding school and he is separated from The White Lion. Bertie then vowed to reunite with The White Lion.

Our visit to the Sinai Academy

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy. It was a very enjoyable experience. First we met the Rabbi he was a very friendly and relaxed man. We wore Kippah’s  that were small and had unique and interesting designs on the top of it. We learnt about Shabbat and that some jewish children start lighting candles from the age of three. Absolutely fascinating. And also you’re not allowed to drive,play games, go on your electronic device etc. My friends and I had a special bread called Challah bread and we also had grape juice it was incredibly   flavourful. There were  Jewish children that spoke and sang Hebrew prayers. Jewish people blow a ram’s horn that they blow 100 times on Rosh Hoshanah which is the Jewish new year.  Overall it was a fantastic experience. And I hope that they will come to play a friendly soccer match against us. Thank you Sinai Academy.

The Grade 4 Camp

Last week we were on camp. We went to Simonsberg Christian Centre. On our way to Simonsberg we stopped at Giraffe House, and I really enjoyed the reptile show because it was so interesting looking at all the different reptiles and the snake was crazy.When we got To Simonsberg we unpacked all our things into our dormitory. And then few hours later we went on a night hike and it was so much fun getting dirty and walking up the mountain and then we stopped and looked at the stars and they were beautiful.The next day we had breakfast and it was delicious,Then we did river rafting and the  paddling was even better and when were coming to the shore Keiran fell out of the boat and it was so funny. And later we did an obstacle course challenge and we struggled but we learnt some teamwork. And the last activity was the Minefield activity and we did than better we did in the obstacle course. When I was packing my bag I felt a sigh of relief. I felt so tired and I couldn't wait to get hom...
